Dog completing a successful training program

BOARDING/DAYCARE

All boarding begins with an orientation

We will guide your dog through a structured process during which we will gain a position of mutual trust and respect that will allow us to teach and enforce rules for them. This will not only allow them to live and play happily out in our large living area with all the other dogs, but it will also help to create a very happy dog.
We accomplish these goals by using proven canine-based methods. No treats, clickers, choke chains, or training devices of any kind are used during this process.

Once this process is complete, your dog will be welcome to come for daycare and boarding anytime.

All dogs will learn a variety of healthy living skills and habits that will help them to form lasting behavioral tendencies.

These life skills may include, but are not limited to:

  • Proper play practices with other dogs and people (what is and is not allowed)
  • What noise will be allowed (barking, growling, whining, etc)
  • Healthy eating habits
  • Open area recall (dogs need to come when called)
  • Other outdoor/yard activities such as digging, jumping up on or pressuring fences and gates, going through gateways, or attempting to escape or leave the group area without permission, etc.
  • Destruction of property
Basic command work (come, go, kennel, etc)
  • Proper use of the dog houses, auto waterers, toys, etc.

The longer their stay, the more they will learn. All board and train options will be determined on an individual basis determined on several factors, including your needs and budget.

Other Boarding / Daycare Benefits include:

  • Consistent monitoring of your dog’s development and changing personality traits as they come and go from our facility
  • Regular feedback for and from you which will aid in your understanding of “who” your dog is and how to best modify training techniques to achieve the best overall results.
