The Dog Way Training method is so effective because it’s based on how dogs instinctively think, live, and develop. The most important thing to every dog is to find a great leader and follow their rules. Establishing ourselves as an appropriate leader takes guidance, skill, discipline, and practice. Effective canine education requires effective people education. Our goal is to provide training that teaches these skills.
Remote Training
Everyone begins with an introductory private session. We cover 3 core sets of rules on Leadership, Canine Behavior, and Educational Procedures.
May involve phone, video chat, and online meeting tools.
The 5 common problems
Barking
Dog barking is a natural way for dogs to communicate. Barking can be used as a warning, to alert of danger, to celebrate, or to express excitement or joy. Dog barking can also be a sign of anxiety or boredom, and it is important to observe the context of the barking to determine the cause.
Biting

Jumping
Dog jumping is a common problem behavior that can be difficult to manage. It is important to understand that dogs jump as a form of communication, and in some cases, it can be a sign of excitement. It is important to discourage jumping and instead reward the dog for sitting or lying down.
Chewing
Dog chewing is a normal behavior for dogs, however, it can become problematic when the dog is chewing on inappropriate items. Chewing is a way for dogs to explore their environment, relieve boredom, and alleviate anxiety. It is important to provide appropriate items for your dog to chew on, such as toys, bones, and puzzle feeders.
House Training
Dog training is the process of teaching a dog to understand and obey commands. Training can help a dog become a better companion and can improve their behavior. Training should be done positively and consistently, and treats are often used to reward good behavior.
